Hair Growth 101: Washing Washing a kinky natural hair is a delicate process and it involves 1. Washing once or twice in a month. 2. Washing in sections if the hair is long or at once if the hair is short. 3.Washing in sections implies. Kalabarising (braiding) or twisting your unwashed hair into three or more sections depending on the length of your hair. 4. Then unbraid or untwist each section, wash, condition, detangle the hair with your fingers and twist or braid it back. 5. Before braiding it, you may decide to use a wide-tooth comb to comb the hair. it will give the hair a good finishing. 6.
