Sandalwood for Skin

Sandalwood paste can be massaged on to skin to get soft skin. It contains antiseptics help reduce the possibility of skin infection or sepsis. Also, sandalwood paste can be used as anti-aging astringents because it helps reduce enlarged skin pores and reduces the rate the sagging of skin.
In addition, sandalwood protects the skin from acne, insect bites, superficial cuts or abrasions and allergies and acts as an anti inflammatory substance which helps to reduce the swelling in the injured tissue on our skin.
At the moment, I use sandalwood for my acne, which is a lot and am trying to reduce/eliminate it. So, I mix sandalwood powder, turmeric powder and a pinch of saffron and a spoon full of honey to make a smooth paste because I have oily face. I leave it over night before washing it off with cold water or for a minimum of 2 hrs before washing it off with cool water. Do you use sandalwood? If you use sandalwood, kindly share your recipe and how effective it has been.
